FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: SPAM?
A: People run programs that look at every website and pull down email addresses for no other purpose than to send SPAM, i.e. unwanted email, aka junk email. As a truck driver it is difficult to plug into the Internet. I am able to access the Internet by way of my cell phone (AT&T;). Unfortunately, I am allowed only 20 Megs before I start paying for every character that comes across my phone. I really have no interest in paying to read junk email. So all my email goes through SPAM filters. If anything comes across even remotely looking like SPAM it is killed at the server and never received by me. The downside is if you send me an email promoting a free business opportunity, I will never see it. ...actually that is not really a downside.
Q: Why mcsejj and not mcse?
A: The latest SPAM trend is to send email to the address mcse@anydomainname.com. By adding the "jj" it helps cut down the SPAM. The email address on the main webpage has a number in it. All email sent to the email addresses listed on my site are run through SPAM filters.
Q: Okay, how do I contact you?
A: Address the email to jjwm7@seawa.com and put only your name and return email address in the subject line.
Q: Why did you leave the computer industry and what are your future plans?
A: I had been in the computer industry for about 17 years and needed a break. Truck driving was clearly a different pace and gave me an opportunity to see the country and some time to think about where and what I want to do in life. I am planning to return to my computer career towards the end of the summer in 2003.
Q: What domain names do you hold?
A: jjthomas.com, seawa.com, seawa.net, seawa.org, djwatt.com, nhmcc.com and nhmcc.org.
Q: Are any for sale?
A: No.
Website Issues:
Q: What happened to all the fancy graphics?
A: Fall break. I am working on some neat things, but needed to get my site updated quickly. But don't worry, they'll be back.
